Cast-A-Way's Successful Workshop at CICCC: here is to a new partnership!

June 10, 2024

On June 7th, Cast-A-Way was proud to host its first exclusive workshop at Cornerstone International Community College of Canada (CICCC), titled "Life & Work at Sea." This engaging presentation was specially designed for CICCC students, offering an in-depth look into the exciting world of the cruise industry.

CICCC students at Cast-A-Way Workshop Life&Work At Sea

Our CEO, Fabiana Estrela, captivated the audience with stories of Cast-A-Way's journey, insights into the cruise industry, and detailed descriptions of life and work onboard. She covered everything from how to start a career in this vibrant field to the daily experiences and opportunities available at sea. The workshop concluded with an open Q&A session, where students eagerly asked questions and received valuable advice from Fabiana.

The event was a resounding success, with around 70 students attending in person and an additional 136 participating online. This workshop not only provided students with invaluable knowledge and inspiration but also marked the beginning of a promising partnership between Cast-A-Way and CICCC.

We are thrilled about the potential of this collaboration and are already planning future projects with Cornerstone, including an open workshop to further expand our reach. Keep an eye out for upcoming events and opportunities to learn more about the thrilling career paths in the cruise industry with Cast-A-Way.
